Our Cancellation Policy:We hope you don't have to cancel but if you do, our policy is stated below. We recommend that you insure against the cost of cancellation. Advisement: Should you need to cancel, you should advise us at the earliest opportunity to give us the maximum time to seek to re-let the home. Breakages Deposit: If you cancel prior to the tenancy start, your Breakages deposit will be returned in full (subject to Charges for other Services - see below). Rental Charges: If we can re-let for the cancelled period, we will return your rental deposit less a $100 administration fee. If we can relet for part of the period, we will return your deposit pro-rata less a $100 adminstration fee. If we cannot relet, you will lose your deposit. If you cancel during the tenancy, you are liable for the rental for the whole poeriod of the tenancy. If we can re-let for the cancelled period, you will be liable for a $100 administration fee but not for any further rental charges . If we can re-let for part of the period, you will be liable for the rental charges on a pro-rata basis plus a $100 adminstration fee. If we cannot re-let, you will remain liable for the whole of the remaining rental charges. Charges for other services: If you have asked us to perform other services and we have already actioned your request(s), the costs and charges for these services will be deducted from your breakages deposit. Administration Fees: We charge a $100NZ adminstration fee to cover the work and cost involved in cancelling the rental agreement. This is waived of we are unable to re-let and you forfeit the rental charge you have already paid. Cancellation by us: We will only cancel your booking when we are unable to provide the property you booked due to a situation beyond our control such as flood, earthquake or fire. We will attempt to find you an alternative from our network of similar companies. If we cancel prior to your tenancy start date, we will return any monies paid by you. If we have to cancel during the tenancy, we will return any rent for the outstanding tenancy period.
